Anahi Jasso is a Chicago-based multimedia artist, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and K–12 Art Education at Northeastern Illinois University, expected to graduate in 2026. Working primarily in drawing and mixed media, her practice explores themes of transformation, preservation, and the uncanny within familiar spaces. Through layered materials and imagery, her work investigates tensions between life and stillness, memory and reconstruction. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at Northeastern Illinois University, including Held In Place (2026), Darkness and Light in the Skylight Gallery (2025), and Artstravaganza (2024). In 2024, she received the Mary E. Krebs Smyth Scholarship Award in recognition of her artistic achievement.
